It occurred to me whilst arsing around with the whole Lil Gods universe that I'd not nailed the villain of the piece.  It was quite a tricky proposition especially how James Woods played Hades in Disney's Hercules.  However much I try and steer clear of it comparisons will be made.

I decided that the Villain should be Ares, God of War (no not Kratos) He's the brother of Apollo and Athena and the least favoured of the Olympians.  This is why he has an axe to grind.  He serves on the council of Olympus but he wants to be revered like his revered siblings.

I had a brainwave the other day to play up Hermes' winged boots a little, after all that's kind of his thing in lieu of a weapon. I had the idea of doing an Air Jordan style mash up and couldn't shake it so here is it.. out of my system.

Those of you who have been following the blog for a while may remember My Lil' Gods. For those of you how have no idea of what this is then shame on you!, Nah its cool. I barely know what it is to be honest. Until recently that is. I recently had some very kind comments about it that have reinvigorated my enthusiasm for it so I'll mostly likely be boring you all with more or this stuff in the coming weeks/months. If anyone out there has any comments or suggestion please feel free to let me know.

Lil Gods levelled up!

Its been a few years since my last Lil Gods revamp so its about time for another. I really enjoyed this even though it took a while. It's rekindled my affection for this so hopefully I'll do some more Lil Gods related work in the form of layouts, beast designs etc...
